Rowing Around Britain Non-Stop
Mersea Homes has decided this year to sponsor a group of local sailors in their pursuit of racing round the United Kingdon in June – no stops just continual rowing! Last weekend saw the start of the grueling challenge ahead of them which will enable them to make money on behalf of their chosen charity Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital.

School Visit
When you plan a school visit for children to a building site you have to consider their safety as paramount importance and on a cold, windy day at Horkesley, in November, the first such visit had to be cancelled at the last moment, to much disappointment of the children, because of the high winds, however, the following week the sun came out and the visit went ahead.
